Beaumont Library District is an Early Learning Family Place Library. As an Early Learning Family Place Library we are a place for early childhood information, parent/caregiver education, emergent literacy, socialization, and family support. We also offer programs and services to school-aged children, educators, area schools, and clubs/organizations for children.
Children's Library Cards
Library cards are free to California residents provided your child has never had a card with us before. For children to receive their first library card they must be aged five (5) or older. Additionally, children must have a parent/legal guardian present when registering for their card. A parent/legal guardian must have a library card first and be in good standing with the library for their child to receive one. For additional information please see Get a Library Card.
Programs are available for target age groups, from babies to age 12. Siblings are welcome at all programs. Babies to age 5 must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 or older. A library card is not required to attend programs.
If you would like to arrange a program for your class, grade level, or club/organization, please call the library at 951-845-1357.
