  1. Friends of the Beaumont Library Annual Meeting and Author Talk

    Lindsey Summers, an up-and-coming, new Young Adult author will be the featured speaker at the Friends of the Beaumont Library's 2018 Annual Meeting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, at the Beaumont Library. She will address the group after a short business meeting where reports will be given on Friends activities during the past year and the terms of continuing Board members will be confirmed. Summers, born in Hawaii but now living in Los Angeles, will share the experiences that led to the publication of her first book, "Textrovert." The book is written for teens but may also be enjoyed by adults, as are many YA titles. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing, and light refreshments will be served, at the close of the presentation. Come and enjoy an afternoon at the beautiful Beaumont Library with the Friends!
