Why Does the Library Offer Parent/Toddler Workshop?

2. To interactively "play" (which is how children learn) with their child in a developmentally appropriate early childhood environment--THE LIBRARY!!!

3. To help children function in a social situation and build creativity and critical thinking skills.

4. To use library materials at home and extend library learning.

5. To talk with other parents, caregivers and local resource professionals

Parent/Child Workshops are an open program, so it can become a little crowded. For more information, please contact Nancy R Wood, Early Childhood & Outreach Librarian. 951-845-3222  email: beaumontlib@telis.org ~ Siblings are welcome even if they are younger or older.
