Public Internet Usage

The Beaumont Library offers free public Internet access to everyone over 18 or children under 18 but over the age of 10 with pre-signed parental permission forms. Computer use is limited to 60 minutes per day. Due to viruses and other computer threats, no discs or CDs are allowed. A Beaumont Library card is required to use the computers. If you do not have a library card, you can get one for free if you bring in your California ID. Patrons who are over 18 years of age with an out of state ID can ask for a guest pass.

The Beaumont Library offers free wireless connection, see a librarian for details.

A computer room is now available. It will provide space for patrons with laptop computers, microfilm readers, typewriters, and additional public access computers. Ask a Librarian for more information.

Online Book Renewal

The Library Automation system enables any patrons to renew their borrowed items online 24/7 using their library card number and their assigned PIN number. List/Renew Items Online Now

Online Book Holds

The Library automation system enables any patron to put items on hold for pickup at a later time. To put items on hold, go to Library's catalog, search for the item, and select "Hold Request". Patron would need their library card number and their patron pin number.
