Access My Accou​nt 

You can access your account online by entering your library card number and PIN (typically the last four digits of your library card number)..

Check When My Materials Are Due

 

Login to My Account with your library card number and PIN and click Account Activity. 

This will allow you to view all of the items you currently have checked out along with the date each item is due. It is your responsibility to know when your items are due.

Donate Items to the Library


Items can be donated to the Friends of the Beaumont Library during their bookstore hours on Saturdays, from 9:30am - 11:30am. More information can be found at our Friends of the Beaumont Library webpage.

Get a Library Card


To obtain a library card from the Beaumont Library District, a member must provide the following information:
  • Name
  • Current street address
  • Telephone number
  • Valid ID (California Driver’s License, Permit, or ID, Consulate Card)
  • Valid proof of residency (current address on ID, California automobile registration listing an address within District boundaries, property escrow papers, rental agreements 12 months or longer, or voter registration postcard.

Children Getting Cards

Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is eligible for a library card. The parent or guardian must obtain a card before a child may do so, or must be in good standing with the library.

Young children must be at least five years old to qualify for a card.

Children aged 10 and older may check out DVDs and use the internet with a signed parental permission form.

Instant Digital Cards


You can obtain an Instant Digital Card to access Overdrive eMaterials without needing a physical library card account. When accessing Overdrive either through their website or through the Libby App you will initially be prompted to create a card using your phone number and email address. This service is only available to patrons within the library's service district and is verified through their zip code. Details on how this process is done, including any privacy concerns, can be found with the following document.

Get a Library Card PIN


The PIN for your library account is setup when you register for a library card and is established as the last four digits of your library card number.

Pay My Fine 


We take payments by cash, check, and credit card. There is a $1.00 transaction fee when paying with a credit or debit card. Please come in to the library if you would like to pay a fine.

Place a Hold Request


Search the Catalog for the book or movie you are interested in and click the Place Hold button. If you are not already logged into your account you will be prompted to enter your card number and PIN. Then click Submit Hold. 

You will be notified by phone or email when it is available for you to pick up. Once notified, the item will remain on the Holds Shelf for five (5) days. If an item is not picked up during that time, it will go on to the next person on the list.

Place a Purchase or Zip Book Request


For items not owned by the library, you can place a request for purchase for brand new items either in person, or filling out our Purchase Request form online. For items published three months or older, you can place a Zip Book request, which ships the item to your home address. Zip Book request can be placed either in person or through our Zip Book form online.

Print a Document Using a Smartphone or Laptop

Renew a Book 


In the upper right corner of the catalog, click the "Login" button, type in your library card number and PIN, then click on your name that appears in the upper right corner of the screen, click Account Activity, and click the Renew Loan button under each item that you wish to renew. Books may be renewed twice for an additional 2 weeks from the date of renewal as long as another member has not placed a hold on the book. When you renew items online, please ensure that a new due date is shown.

You can also renew a book over the phone (951) 845-1357 or in person. Just have your library card number available when calling.

Replace a Lost Library Card


When a card is lost you have 2 choices: you can have your number looked up and written down for you as one-time courtesy, or you can purchase a new library card for $5. If you've already had your card looked up, then you will be asked to replace the library card for $5. 

Stolen Cards


Please keep in mind that you are responsible for any items checked out on your account using either your card or number. If your card is lost or stolen, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can block your account from unapproved use.

Use a Computer or Printer at the Library


Computer Time


You can login to one of our public computers with your library card number for multiple logins up to 90 minutes per day.


Printer


From the public computers you may print in black and white for $0.10 per page. We do not print in color.
