Teen Programs

  1. Weekly Book Sale

    June 12, 2021, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ The sale room is located on the east side of the building, next to the parking lot.

    These guidelines must be observed by staff & customers in the Friends Book Sale Room: - All must wear masks that cover the mouth and nose. The only exceptions will be those noted by the state in their regulations. - Four people may be in the sales room, including one salesperson. The second salesperson will not be in the salesroom but remain outside to handle donations and to engage with those waiting to enter. - Hand sanitizer with at least 70% isopropyl alcohol will be available. The counter will be wiped with disinfectant after each customer transaction. - Those waiting to enter the room will be socially distanced and masked. They may wait in their vehicles. - It is suggested that each customer spend no more than 15 minutes shopping unless no one is waiting to enter. - Donations will be quarantined as they come in. Donated items may not be perused or sold. -All funds raised are used by the Friends of the Beaumont Library District to support the Beaumont Library District.

  4. Lunch at The Library

    June 18, 2021, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

    Breakfast and Lunch for children ages 0-18 will be distributed by Beaumont Unified Nutrition Services in the Library parking lot on Friday mornings at 9 AM beginning June 11 and ending July 23rd. Between the ages of 0-18, children will also be receiving grab-n-go activity bags that will include material for art projects per age group. Each week, there will be a new theme. There is no registration to receive these bags but there is a limited supply, so please keep that in mind.

  6. Teen Yoga

    Join our exclusive Teen Yoga (for kids 13-18) class outside in front of the library. This new program will be held once a month on a Saturday morning and classes will run about an hour. We will have five mats available for use! Please wear your mask and if you have your own yoga mat/towel to class, bring it with you! We are excited to see you!
